Racing Against Breast Cancer

Apr 25, 2013 | Dairy News

My friend TJ Luedke has been racing cars for quite a few years, and he was feeling a little burned out.  He was looking for something to ignite that spark of passion for racing again.

Well, he found it.  His racing outfit, TJ’s Motorsports is teaming up with sponsors, including our dairy, in the fight against breast cancer.  In addition to painting his new ride bright pink, TJ is getting ready to donate the proceeds from this season’s races to a local breast cancer charity, Pink Party.  This group keeps their projects local by giving help to women in their community who are affected by breast cancer, including a cancer support group at the local hospital, and grants to individuals to help with medical and household expenses as they battle the disease.

I speak for all of us at Majestic Crossing when I say we are proud to be sponsors of TJ’s racing season, because we know that it’s a topic that resonates with a lot of people, us included.  One of our partner’s wives went through breast cancer last year, making this cause near and dear to us.

TJ and I go way back in our friendship, since he does all the combining for our farm, and owns his own custom harvesting business.  We’re partners on and off the race track, and it feels great to be supporting him as he pursues his passion for racing and does good for the community.

TJ will be racing 41 nights this season in Manitowoc and Plymouth. Follow TJ’s adventures in his hot pink racecar on his Facebook page.
