Quality Awards from Sartori Cheese

This month, Majestic Crossing Dairy received two awards from our local (but world-renowned) cheese producer, Sartori Cheese. My brother Darin and I were honored to accept the awards at Sartori’s dairy farmer banquet.

We received the milk quality award for having a consistent, high-quality product. Sartori uses milk from local farms, and we’re happy to provide it, but they also want the highest quality milk, and we’ve got that too. Sartori is all about quality as they make their cheeses like Asiago and Fontina that have intense and unique flavor profiles.

We also received the cheese award, since the milk we supply produces the most cheese per 100 lbs. Our milk is consistently high in protein and butterfat, and that means quality cheese. In fact, Sartori cheese is a bestseller here in Wisconsin, throughout the U.S. and in the world market. Not bad for the cheese factory down the road!
